How to Make a Festive Lit'l Smokies® Holiday Appetizer Wreath
Impress your holiday party guests with a delicious Lit’l Smokies® holiday appetizer wreath brought to us by our friends at Hillshire Farm. Not only does this festive wreath taste as good as it looks, but it’s easy to make, too!
Ingredients
- 1 pkg. Hillshire Farm Lit'l Smokies®
- 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent dough rolls
- Roasted bell pepper strips and cherry tomato halves (for the bow)
- Baby spinach
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Open package of Lit’l Smokies® and drain off any liquid.
- Unroll dough, separate at perforations, creating 4 rectangles. Press perforations to seal. With a knife or pizza cutter cut each rectangle lengthwise into 8 strips making a total of 32 strips. Wrap one strip of dough around each of the Lit’l Smokies®. Place crescent wrapped sausages on ungreased cookie sheet or round baking stone in a circle forming a wreath shape.
- Bake for 11–15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool slightly. While cooling, arrange spinach leaves into a wreath shape on a serving platter. Place the Lit’l Smokies® on top of the leaves and garnish the wreath with bell pepper and cherry tomato to form a bow as shown.
We love the Lit’l Smokies® holiday appetizer wreath so much that it was the inspiration for a new, free holiday invitation. Send festive holiday invitations today to invite guests to your party!
