Mom's Faces: Face and Body Art
202 Forrest dr

I am an emergency room nurse who has found new ways of making people feel good by using body art and face painting. Nothing can make you feel better than seeing a smile on a face of a child. And aren't we all kids at heart? Face painting brings out the kid in all of us-a way to pretend to be magical, a princess, a superhero or just another animal in the zoo.
As someone who interacts with children; safety is of the utmost importance. I have liability insurance and have also gone through, registered and was cleared by the PA Child Abuse Welfare site. My face paints are FDA reviewed for safety and are MADE SPECIFICALLY to be used on the skin. I use only cosmetic grade glitter as well; craft glitter can cause skin or eye injuries. I practice safe hygienic techniques when painting.
My experience as an ED nurse really comes through when dealing with children of all age ranges; growth and development play a role in type of paint/ make up choices, brush or sponge use, glitters, gems, etc. The behavior of a 2 year old is different than that of a 10 year old. 2 year old children can move suddenly, and if not careful, can be hurt. I have 6 years of face painting experience in addition to my 30 years as an ED nurse. All of these factors should reassure you that I am a qualified face painter for your event.
