The goal of my business is to have fun while designing "living" celebrations of people's lives - especially children. My work starts with a basic theme, like most of the parties out there - only these themes serve as a point of departure for me.
I try to find the essence of (the child) I'm designing a party for - then create expressions of their unique personalities. I don't wish to create the sort of "baseball" or "Star Wars" themes that are interchangeable from kid to kid. For example the Scott in "Scott Wars" always loved crawling into tight spaces - an empty box, the rabbit cage - so these became individual stories, which became comic strips, and eventually space pods - all within his "theme" and love of Star Wars.
