The first thing people notice when they meet Johnny Borter and Tina Wagner is their absolute enthusiasm. "We see every wedding as a chance to create a master piece. We seek to create one image that people will stop and stare at. One image that you cannot seem to turn away from, your not sure why, and for every person there is another reason. When the true spirit of the day exposes itself to us in this way then we feel as though we have succeeded."
Johnny Borter professionally photographed his first wedding in 1987. Since that time he has photographed over 500 weddings. Johnny's current mastery of digital imaging has taken him around the country for numerous advertising assignments and teaching opportunities. Tina Wagner studied photojournalism at Columbia College in Chicago under the direction of pulitzer prize winner John H. White, obtaining her bachelor of Arts degree in 1995. The couple paired in 200 and formed Borterwagner photography. "We combined our talents to form what we believe is an amazing opportunity for our clients to gain perspective in an uncompromised manner." By having two photographers, Borterwagner photography can always be capturing the moments of the day from more than on perspective at a time. By enabling simultaneous perspectives, Borterwagner does not need to choose between a portrait or a candid, a moment or a pose, black and white or color.
Borterwagner photography is a full service mobile photographic studio. Onsite capabilities include, but are not limited to, hi-resolution photographic capture, high intensity and artistically crafted lighting, image viewing manipulation and output to hi-resolution print.
