In the beginning, I can still remember being terrified when I walked through her front door, because I was young and I'd never done anything like that before. However, when the planning began, I immediately knew this was the industry I was meant to be in. The feeling I had from that experience was contagious and I've never looked back. I've planned thousands of weddings, black-tie galas and other fundraisers, VIP political receptions, top chef competitions, after performance dinners for artists performing at Bass Hall, reunions, birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, etc. I've now been in this industry for 34 years, so I've seen it all and yet every time I'm hired, I still experience that same amount of excitement that I felt years ago.
