Here’s how it all works:
1. A 10 x 10 (can be smaller) mobile studio is set up at your event.
2. A person or several guests stand in front of the camera either with or without props.
3. A 7 second video is taken while your guests shake it, hold up a sign, blow kisses and just have fun
4. Once they video is reviewed and approved, we print the video, put it through our cutter and staple the flipbook on the spot.

We will provide you with everything your child and their friends will need to design their own bear. Children will get to take their bear and make it come to life using the stuffing machine. Before we close up our bears, each child will get to kiss the special heart that will be placed inside their bear. Then it's off to the birth certificate station where each child will name their bear. Once the children are ready each child will take home their new bear in a box.

The Bear Builders party policies:
- How do I book a The Bear Builders party? Parties are booked on a first come first serve basis. We will pick a time that best suites your needs and I will send you a confirmation letter via email. At this time a set up fee is required for a party booking. There is an additional fee therefore after the first half, unless arrangements are made. This fee itself is separate from the animal expense per child. This fee is waived for non-profit organizations including all school, church, sports teams, scouts, and cancer events. Ask for details!
- What if I have less than 10 children at the party? The price is based on a group size of up to ten children. If less than 10 attend, you still pay the group rate. No limit to the amount of guest we can add to the reservation. I have done parties for large groups of children; we have bear-specialist that help.
- If a child does not show up, do I still have to pay for that child? Yes, I planned for the number of children in the confirmation count. If you pay for an extra guest and they don't show, I still did all of the planning for that amount. You will be able to keep the party bag for that child.
- What time can I hold the party? You book the day it is yours to decide the time of the party unless I tell you otherwise. I will notify you if I am unable to accommodate your time via email.
- Can siblings of the guest stay? As long as they are supervised! This exciting party and the whole family will enjoy the fun.
- What form of payment do you accept? Cash, Visa or Master Card (accepted through paypal.com) at this time. Or you may send payment to: 1147 Manhattan Ave Manhattan Beach CA 90266
- What happens if I cancel the party? In the event you have to cancel, you loose yours set up fee. I will work with you to arrange another date for the party and additional fee is due. Due to the nature of my business, the set up fee is nonrefundable.
- What happens due to inclement weather? Of course if the roads are closed and it is unsafe to hold the party we will work to pick a new date and time.
- What time should the bearday guest arrive? I come approximately one and a half hour early before I am scheduled. I do need time to set up. Guest should arrive at the invitations time. Please keep children away during this set up lot of heavy equipment coming in and out and it easy to get hurt.
- How early do I contact you with the RSVP count? I need to know one week (or sooner) before the date of the party. I also need to know cake request, balloon colors, and such.
- Can parents stay for the party? This is a high-energy party with photo taking and movement. If you have the room and we have the room then I have no problem with an audience.
- Can I serve food to the children? Food can be served after the bear building is over. Then the party can resume into the second hour after everyone is full. Cake and gifts can be done later at the end of the event. I would plan a longer event if food will be served. Items that are damages from food or drinks will be billed to the host.
