National Food Truck Day
It’s National Food Truck Day! Did you know that food trucks can be traced all the way back to the 17th century? Vendors in New York City (formerly New Amsterdam) lined the streets to sell food from push carts. The city began to enact regulations on food vendors in 1691.
Food trucks can now be found in many cities and towns across America. There are many varieties in food truck cuisine including mexican cuisine, indian fare, middle eastern varieties, and more. Even cupcake food trucks can be found!
To celebrate National Food Truck Day, visit a local food truck with family and friends!
