The Chapel area is bright and cheery, with seating for 45 people and a speaker’s podium; it might be the perfect place for your next book signing, business meeting, or church gathering. Our Main Event Floor is large enough to accommodate several hundred people for weddings, dances, anniversary parties, weekend workshops, boaters' luncheons, military dances, or business seminars! If you need the space, we have the place!! Complete with a fully operational kitchen, we are here to provide for every gathering of business associates, friends and family that you can envision. We provide conveniences like tables and chairs, chafing dishes, coffee urns, wireless internet, audio/visual equipment, and podium, which is a benefit to our clients in that it minimizes or eliminates the need to have to rent those necessities from outside sources and the burden of that added expense. Here at the Pavilion, we have created a warm and welcoming venue with character and personality versus a cold and sterile room with a few tables and chars. We want our customers and their guests to feel comfortable here - as if they are welcoming their family and friends into their own home. Our purpose is to increase the knowledge, enjoyment, and self-discovery of flight and to stimulate an interest in science and technology for our visitors. We welcome the opportunity to serve the community by allowing private event use of the Museum. As a non-profit foundation, private events help earn operating income, thereby expanding our educational efforts, and they introduce a new audience to The Museum of Flight.
