The fine art of digital and film photography.
My first camera was handed to me in 1976. A Canon AE-1. It set my course for this life. I remember to this day staring at the brochure. That was the spark. I’ve been “shooting” ever since. I moved on to Nikon cameras, Hasselblad, Leica, and Mamiya over the years -- exotic names for pro-grade gear. There’s no substitute for shooting with the best. All of my work is run through professional grade equipment.
Cut my teeth primarily as a photojournalist, but my experience covers the breadth and depth of almost every conceivable type of photography. A few of the organizations I’ve worked for:
Navy News Journal Messenger Potomac News Associated Press Richmond News Leader Commonwealth Times Richmond Times-Dispatch The Virginian Pilot Numerous album covers, promotional headshots, marketing/advertising work. 23 years as a wedding photographer. I look forward to working for you and together documenting an event, an opportunity to capture forever that moment in time that lasts a pure second. Memories alone are imperfect. Photography delivers the joy of recalling life’s passages in a medium that everyone can share. Photographs bring memories flooding back. Don’t let them slip away.
