In March of 2013, Amy Desena opened a boutique cake-pop business, Dipped, at the same address The Pittston Bakery is now located. During her time operating Dipped, she made quite an impression upon the community while offering her specialty baskets and arrangements for many of the local fundraisers and events. Amy is a Pittston resident, and she is dedicated to giving back to her local communities as much as possible. Over the course of the one-year she operated Dipped, a substantial number of her customers were requesting additional products that she did not offer. After talking with friends and family, Amy decided it was time to take her business to the next level by opening a fully scaled bakery offering all the products that her customers had been requesting the past year. Amy is extremely passionate about the expression of creativity through food; she has been known to take a few complex ingredients and produce the most amazing cupcakes or treats you could imagine. Amy and her husband Mike have three beautiful daughters. They plan to turn this into a true family business someday. The Pittston Bakery will offer the community a friendly and fun environment full of color and culinary specialties where you can be sure to find something to satisfy your sweet-tooth.
