Pomegranate Ginger Mojito
I was recently introduced to this sophisticated version of one of my favorite drinks and had to share for your next intimate event.
Pomegranate Ginger Mojito
8-10 leafs of fresh mint
1 tablespoon of freshly grated ginger root, muddle with mint leaves
Fill the glass with ice.
Pour 2 ounces light rum to 3 parts soda water to 1 part pomegranate juice. Add a few more sprigs of mint and a spoonful of sugar to taste. Top with half ounce of dark rum.
This is a great opportunity to use some of the fast-growing mint in your kitchen herb garden. For beautiful, fragrant décor, cut extra springs of mint and display in porcelain creamers surrounded by broken pomegranate pieces.
Enjoy Planning.
