National Childrens Day

Today is National Children’s Day which means we’re supposed to celebrate our children and how precious they are to us. So, it's never to late to plan an impromptu ice cream sundae party after supper for all the kids in your life. 

Most kids love ice cream sundae parties and it’s a fun, easy way to get together. Send an online invitation to your friends and family with kids and just ask each person to bring one sundae item. It’s super easy to coordinate with Punchbowl’s potluck list so you don’t have 3 chocolate syrups but no whipped cream!  

Sometimes my favorite gatherings are the impromptu last minute get-togethers. Your kids will appreciate the thought and you can take a moment to be grateful for the little ones in your life—sticky hands and all.
