Liven up your Christmas menu by adding a pop of color with this cranberry orange relish. Cranberry relish is a great dish to have throughout the holiday season, but this version takes it to the next level. Ideal on turkey and turkey leftovers (think sandwiches!), cranberry orange relish is easy to make and will add a colorful touch to your holiday meal.

Cranberries

What you’ll need:
- 12 ounces of cranberries (1 bag)
- 1 large orange (preferably seedless)
- ½ cup sugar
- Food processor

Step 1: First, wash the cranberries with cold water and dry them. Make sure you discard any discolored or rotten ones from the bunch.

Step 2: Next, wash your orange and dry it. Once it is dry, slice it into six equal sized pieces, removing any seeds.

Step 3: In your food processor, combine the cranberries, orange slices, and ½ cup of sugar. Mix until it is a chunky texture.

Step 4: Taste your cranberry orange relish. If it is too tart, just add a little more sugar and mix it in. Repeat these steps until you get a desired sweetness. (This will vary depending on your personal preferences and the tartness or your cranberries).

Step 5: Place your cranberry orange relish into a serving dish, cover, and refrigerate until you're ready to serve.
