World Gratitude Day
Today is World Gratitude Day! Celebrated annually on September 21st, this holiday is the perfect chance to show your appreciation and gratitude for others. The United Nations Meditation Group created the holiday and encourages people to find something to be grateful for, whether big or small.
World Gratitude Day started in 1965 in Hawaii at the International East-West Center, during a Thanksgiving dinner. Today, remember that gratitude is more than a simple "thank you." When we practice gratitude, we can feel more at peace, experience less stress, and be happier in our daily lives.
To celebrate, express your gratitude to others through a quick visit, a friendly phone call, or a heartfelt Thank You card. Happy World Gratitude Day!
