International Nurses Day
It’s International Nurses Day! Today we recognize the important work that nurses do to provide care and combat global health challenges such as the current crisis we face. This (May 8-14) is also Nurse Appreciation Week. Take the time to thank all the nurses in your life with a free Nurse Appreciation eCard.
The International Council of Nurses declared the first International Nurses Day in 1965. We celebrate this occasion on May 12 because it is the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing. This year’s theme for International Nurses Day is "Our Nurses. Our Future."
To celebrate today, recognize the vital work nurses do worldwide and thank them for their dedication to their patients and profession!
