Today is Donald Duck’s birthday! Donald is a classic Disney character who we love for his instantly recognizable voice and mischievous ways. Created in 1934, Donald Duck is one of the most popular Disney characters along with his best buddy Mickey Mouse. Donald has actually appeared in more movies and cartoons than any other Disney character!
His first animated appearance was in “The Wise Little Hen” in 1934. Over the next twenty years, Donald made appearances in more than 150 theatrical films – including ones that were recognized at the Academy Awards!
