Today is The National Day of Prayer! This holiday is celebrated annually on the first Thursday of May. The theme for this year's event is "Love One Another." The National Day of Prayer is all about getting together as a community to unify in public prayer.
This holiday was established in 1952 by President Harry S. Truman. In 1988, President Ronald Reagan designated the first Thursday in May as the annual observance of The National Day of Prayer.
Celebrate National Day of Prayer by joining in prayer at a local church, with family and friends, or individually. You can learn more about the event here: https://nationaldayofprayer.org/.
