Today's Reason to Celebrate

March 04, 2018 was

National Grammar Day

Today is National Grammar Day! In 2008, the founder of the Society for the Promotion of Good Grammar, Martha Brockenbrough, established it as a holiday. With over a million words in the English language, you’re bound to misuse one of them now and then. Today, do your best to use proper grammar when speaking and writing.

One common grammatical error is the overuse of apostrophes. Another example is incorrectly used words, such as “affect” and “effect.”

Spend a few minutes today to brush up on your grammar!
