About me:
Horse lover! Interested in many disciplines, knowledgeable about many, expert in a few, pro in none. Love to photograph all! I grew up with photography, even had a dark room in my house. I always had some type of camera and slowly upgraded. I never stopped taking photos even after working a regular 8 to 5 job for 20+ years. It was finally time to do what I love and help others build memories. Haven't looked back since as I am constantly learning and building my photography business.
My photography style:
I love to use light natural and artificial. I am constantly learning new techniques on the use of light and how it improves my photography. For those wanting a portrait with their horse or other 4 legged friends I know the proper angles so your horse will not look distorted. I will get a shot with your horse’s ears up and you will look good too! I know many breed standards for those required shots, plus I am creative for those unique shots that no one else has. I do not over edit my photos only enhance colors, details and retouch. I like photos to look natural without overblown colors. Unless requested no trendy editing, only natural editing that will be timeless.
Specialties:
Equine photography, ranch calls, equine events, equestrian events, senior portraits, fashion, model portfolios, photography lessons, and an occasional wedding, social media coaching.
Photography lets the creative side of me tell a story and help bring memories to the on the other side of the camera. Meeting a wide variety of people and seeing new places is a big plus too!
