My name is Michael Cranmer and my band is called Setting Suns. Setting Suns specializes in a blend of different genres all under the heading of "roots". Outlaw country (willie, johnny cash, waylon jennings, kris kristofferson), bluesy rock (grateful dead, little feat, rolling stones), alt-country (wilco, son volt), etc. The set is informed by the Midnight Ramble shows made famous by the late great Levon Helm (of The Band).
