MasterPieces Cake Art specializes in bringing your ideas to life in the form of delicious, home made special occasion cakes and desserts. My style is unique. Often times, a cakes begins with an idea from you, such as, “We’d like a ‘gold, glam’ cake in the shape of Italy”, or, “Uncle Dan, go outside and look at the sky. That’s what we want our cake to look like”. I take it from there by searching the internet, walking through the toy aisle at the store, or visiting the florist until I find exactly what I need to turn your inspiration into a sweet creation. One of my cakes featured a pond with trickling, color-changing water. Another was built on a toy car chassis, with headlights that would flash and music that would play when the “car cake” was rolled forward or backward. Whether, simple, elegant, glamorous or whimsical, or stationary, moving and flashing, I am ready to take on the challenge.
