Close-up magic is the most popular and versatile form of magical entertainment available today. This particular style of magic is perfect for wedding receptions, mixers, cocktail parties, and other large events where people are mingling. Markus uses cards, coins, and pure sleight of hand to entertain your guest one on one and in smaller groups. He literally performs the magic right before their eyes and in their hands. The technical demands of this show do require theatrical lighting and sound, and are best suited to theatres with a seating capacity of 200 or fewer. Similar to Markus's stand up show, there is plenty of humour, audience participation, and of course, mystery. Markus will read your mind, perform a timeless Chinese classic, and demonstrate what may be one of the oldest recorded tricks in magic. Although the show is family friendly it is recommended for ages 13 and up.
